Water is the biggest enemy of any building. We test to find exactly where it’s getting in, then repair or replace the waterproofing so it stays out.

Test first, then waterproof
A new membrane in the wrong place won’t stop a leak. We start with targeted flood and spray testing to isolate the source: a failed balcony membrane, a cracked hob, a leaking window perimeter or a planter box draining into the slab below.
Once the source is confirmed, we recommend the right repair: a local fix, a sealant and joint repair, or full membrane replacement.

How we approach remedial work
- Investigate. Close inspection, often by rope access, plus testing, scanning or controlled breakout where needed, with a photo report.
- Scope and price. A clear, staged quote based on what we actually found, with any engineer hold points built into the programme.
- Repair. Works carried out to the specification, with the least possible disruption to residents and tenants.
- Close out. Photos of completed works, product details and any recommendations for ongoing maintenance.

How do I know if my balcony membrane has failed?
Common signs are water stains or drips on the ceiling below, efflorescence (white salt deposits) on tiles or soffits, drummy tiles and rust stains. A flood test confirms it.
Can a balcony be waterproofed without removing the tiles?
Sometimes. There are over-tile and sealer systems for minor issues. Where the membrane has failed, tiles usually need to come up. We’ll explain the options.
Is waterproofing licensed work in NSW?
Yes. Waterproofing is specialist licensed work in NSW. We carry out or coordinate it through appropriately licensed trades.
