Why anchors matter to building owners
Anchor points are safety-critical equipment. Anyone working at height on your roof relies on them, and building owners and strata committees have a duty to make sure they are fit for purpose. Anchors need to be installed correctly and inspected at regular intervals set by the relevant Australian Standard and the manufacturer. We’ll confirm the right schedule for your system.
An expired tag can stop every contractor from working on your roof, delaying cleaning, maintenance and emergency repairs.

How often do roof anchors need to be inspected?
Inspection intervals are set by the applicable Australian Standard and the manufacturer, and are commonly annual. We’ll check your system and advise the correct schedule.
Who is responsible for anchor certification?
Generally the building owner or owners corporation. Your strata manager or building manager usually arranges it.
Can you install anchors on a heritage or architectural roof?
Often, yes. We assess the roof structure and choose a system that suits it, working with an engineer where required.
