Principles we work by
- Tell people early. Clear notices, and a friendly word on the day.
- Keep paths clear. Safe, signed routes for walkers, wheelchairs and scooters.
- Work around routines. Avoid meal times, activities and quiet hours for noisy tasks.
- Choose quiet, low-odour methods where possible.
- Avoid scaffold outside residents’ windows by using rope access for work at height.
- Same faces. Consistent crews residents get to know and trust.
Plan ahead
A preventative program with regular walk-throughs means fewer emergencies and less surprise disruption. Bigger works (painting, facade repairs) can be scheduled in stages and communicated well in advance.
